I know this doesnt change gameplay, but I think it would be interesting if the grass looked like its actually affected by the wind instead of just some wobbling. Also it would be nice if there was a pivot so grass roots(bottom part) wouldnt move. This can apply to also trees and bushes, so the trunk moves a tiny bit, and leaves too.

Another idea I thought of right now is to make some grass longer in clumps, where people can heal, and hide.

Write your opinions, and Ill try to explain, improve on my idea.

Wouldn’t this lag some devices?

Btw, Vegetation(grass) disappears after 200m, because of LOD.

More movement on trees/vegetation why not. But it might impact performance more than you think.

If you want something for hiding. Make a "bush gadget" that have different bush. And you just place it on the floor and hide in it 💀

Just add a board to place over windows/holes from pickaxe

Trying out the last grass and foliage rendering techniques used by Ghost of Tsushima.
