This was my favorite feature in 2042 (one of the only ones that I was impressed by) and I loved being able to take a moment and pull out a 4x scope and take a few potshots in single fire mode before putting my red dot back on and running back in. I understand you can get a similar effect with canted sights and some top sights but the sight you look through by default changes between deaths and they make the gun look ugly in my opinion. This may give players options to use their loadout in different ways without respawning.
