#Increase Spot Bonus to 200 Points

II could see this working if the xp varies based on the method used
if it's manual ping, recon drone ping or the gun attachment
Yeah could scale it the same way as the time so
Gun attachment - 2s - 50pts
Normal ping - 4s - 100pts
Recon ping - 8s - 200pts
Drone ping - 12s - 300pts
But honestly just 200 across the board seems fine to me
Yeah something like that
200 across the board is a bit high for the gun attachment
i see it as good chip xp
Yeah I agree with it being a bit high for the gun attachment
Reason I wanted different for each is to keep the attachment low and make the drone have higher spot xp yield
Yeah I mean you can spot people with the drone a bit more easily
Except it takes a lot of time to get the drone into place
Idk of a spot should give as much as a kill
I'll have to pay more attention to how many spot bonuses I get with the attachment
Currently spot bonus is 1/16th of the points a kill gives
Isn’t it 50
No across the board they increased it
Before the change people would top out at like 80k points in a really good match
Now I see people with like 170k at the top of the scoreboard
If you check in #bb-screenshots you can see proof that it's 800 for a normal kill, btw
You had me second guessing myself lol
Going to keep an eye on how much I see people using spotting when I play tonight
Even if it gave 8'000 XP it wouldn't change much. 99% of people don't play for XP.
99% of people don't play for xp
Uh that's a really bold claim
Maybe; the gun attachment ping lasts 2 seconds so I can't imagine it being useful for farming spot assists
recon getting an XP bonus for spot assists makes a lot of sense to me
I like this idea
Yeah like engineers w vehicle destroys
Riddle me this Batman: medic healing and reviving, ammo replenish of assault and support give A LOT of XP. Why do a lot of people ignore that?
They don't? Whenever I'm near teammates for a bit I get healed and resupplied
Also like, people are definitely doing the weekly challenges to get xp too
People do things for a variety of reasons but one of the factors is definitely xp
you're joking lmao
if spotting assists gave 8k XP then you'd see dozens of drones in the air per team
Medics don't heal nor res because a huge portion of medics are tryhard wannabes that only hold W to die "flanking" to then brag about dropping a 100 kill game
With 50 deaths
real and true
