How about this. the current challenges are very simple and many people find them confusing so here's a proposition
we can have either or both systems.

-Personal challenges:
Everyone get's a random set of challenges like now.
Challenge re-roll possibility.
No challenge with not yet unlocked weapons.

-Community challenges:
The community working together for the progress
Players need to achieve a minimum criteria of participation
Challenges per categories ex.: "Destroy X vehicles as (double points as Engineer)"; "Revive X players"; "Spot X players (double points as Recon)"; "Capture x objectives (double points as Assault)"
Focus on class diversity and role enforcement

Any time the Revive, Heal, Repair, Resupply challenges are in the weeklies, the game just feels like a better experience cuz people are playing "other than TDM" which Oki wants.
Turn those into a larger number for the community i.e. 1M revives, 10M heals, 6M vehicle repair points, 8M bullets resupplied, 10M enemies spotted (random numbers).
Gives a sense of community to the game pop, helps players who can't play as often (which is already a weekly complaint for some), encourages teamwork, and highlights class identities.

yeah and with a minimum criteria you are required to actually contribute to get the bonus at the end however even after you surpass it you are still contributing

why not make it have milestones too. maybe players double up on the criteria, double the xp. start with a smaller milestone for smaller xp bonus

Simple solution. Make it so the 4x bonus activates with 4/5 missions done. That way people can just ignore one

Why not unlock unlock a skin early for a weapon. It would fix the issue with the kill requirements being so high

What if there were personal challenges (random for XP) AND community challenges that work towards a big number (e.g. 5 million kills) as a group for exclusive skins? When I used to play Elite: Dangerous the community events would have different rewards for different levels of contributors to the overall goal. e.g. If you're in the top 20% you get three new skins, top 40% two skins, top 60% one skin, etc. Feels like it would be good for comradery, little bit competition, and player numbers if everyone was pushing for something big.

I did try applying as a 3D modeller but i got rejected and i didn't really see anyone new on the team. Just saying
