Drum mags in general have a hefty reload and recoil penalty. How about when you equip a drum mag, it removes the option for a quick reload (dropping mag). There still will be recoil penalties and movement related penalties, but the recoil penalties are a LOT less severe than they are now. You shouldnt have to give up that much precision and accuracy for a drum mag, but to me it makes sense that you wont be able to reload a drum mag very quickly. This way you are still able to have a decent handle on your weapon, while being limited in mobility and reload time

Bipods have been fixed and are a lot easier to deploy, but bipods force you to be an actual sentry, and i prefer to be able to dodge and move around corners if need be. With my suggestion it allows you to have a more dynamic playstyle. If ur gonna slap a bipod on it, migjt as well do it on the m249. For that role of stationary suppressive fire, m249 is better suited for that rold
