Due to timezones even 24 hours can be restrictive. Putting 4 hours requirement for a 6 hour event will lead to many people missing drops by miniscule amounts of time.

Other people will miss it entirely due to timezone issues, some will miss it due to real life obligations (job, school, medical etc.), some will miss stuff due to technical issues, some people will not get what they were aiming for.

These are not due to people not wanting to support the game or watch the stream. I want to watch the stream, I want to support the game but missing a drop by 7 minutes because of a technical issue I had no control over really puts a bad taste on your mouth for something that doesn't effect anything like in game skins.

Timezones make those type of events really annoying for people outside of the 'intended audience' timezone. In central Europe the event started at 10pm and went well over midnight. I used a twitch bot to autoclaim drops and let it run on a laptop overnight. This doesn't push engagement with the community and really isn't fun

Im against any type of drop event that does last less than 3 days because some people don't have the time to sit there and watch random twich streams just to get that one really nice skin. I liked the old twitch drops much more because you had a whole week to complete them which gave you plenty of time.

would it be worth trying out lessening the skins for a future event then? genuine question - not trying to stir anything, but it could be worth a try. of course it would just be exchanging one kind of grievance (people wanting the event to be longer) with another (people wanting more skins from the event)

i feel like the latter might be easier to manage though. doubt anyone would find getting two or three skins for one and a half to two hours of viewing unreasonable when both events so far have been 6 hours long. compare to how it is now where you'd need to be on stream for 4 hours/more than half the period (usually well after the actual rivals event is done)

1-) low time frame of 6 hours for rewards that require 4 hours
