Readjust the regional prices for South America

Never did one of these things but, this free weekend is the perfect example that there is a market to be had in south america, but with the game being pretty expensive compared to our cost of living, its kinda hard to fester a community and bring new people here.

I know that for NA and EU the game is pretty cheap, but here, depending on the country, could be as expensive as 2 weeks of food

Would be good to see the devs working with other relevant people of the SA community so they can adjust the regional prices acordingly <3

i have yet to look at how steam pricing works on the side of a dev but looking at it from everyone in the south america side of things, games can get a tad bit pricy for sure

I know that its not on the devs to lose money on our regions but how the things are right now, no one can afford to buy the game in Argentina, Brazil has it a little more easy tho

Right now, in Argentina, after tax the game is about 25$dlr, so it does get expensive, that's a week of food in the most expensive cities

im from mexico so i didnt exactly encounter too much of a regional pricing issue, but looking at it at the rest of south america isa no good

yeah, as a brazilian, the price here isn't on the "expensive" side, sure its not on the range to buy just to "test" a new game and have fun with friends over a weekend, but its not nearly as bad as in Argentina with the recent price changes, which according to steamdb . info, the game is selling at the full US price

yeah, but what i mean is this is more of a devs vision for pricing, like, i personally paid the full price because i was sure i was gonna enjoy the game, and at now i have a litlle more than 150h at the game, but i can't convince some of my friends, who have similar interests, to buy the game, because its a bit too pricey to buy to have like, 15h playing

but the situation with argentina, with these recent change that steam made to US dolar prices, its just plain stupid (sry for the word)

this is the price history for argentina, before, the full price in the local currency was converted to 6 US dolars

Yeah, i think, from my lived experience as a lower middle class argentinian, 8 dollars its a good compromise for the game

More than that is almost impossible to pay, mostly because after taxes the price increases 175%, so we are almost paying for 3 games instead of one

even if he does that, the issue is still the same, the game regional price got reset and need to be tweaked again

we can't afford a 12$ game, even less with taxes getting it up to 25$, but those 12$ are still a lot in here

son cosas de las cuales oki tiene nocion y se le ha comentado, pero ya se hizo anteriormente y tuvo sus consecuencias negativas, por el momento esta como esta y nadamas es de que haya una propuesta o oki tenga una idea para que funciona

si bien me acuerdo tuvo que ver con personas que compraban cuentas baratas o para revender o para hackear con cuentas baratas, pero pues por razon o otra se reverso el cambio

Entiendo eso, pero steam ya tiene restricciones oara evitar lo mas posible esas cosas

No tiene sentido perjudicar la comunidad hispana de su juego por culpa de eso, mas aun sabiendo que en latam este tipo de juegos explotan justamente porque corren en pcs de bajos recursos

Antes del 20 de nov, no había latam usd, se pagaba a 3k pesos masomenos en su momento como 6 dolares, ahora serian poco mas de 2 dólares por la inflación y cambios en la divisa y blabla.

Primero, lo de revender cuentas o vender cuentas baratas si sería un bajon para "Oki" porque no podría hacer nada al respecto y eso solamente depende de steam y si quiere implementar algún sistema de verificación mejor con documento nacional de identidad, selfie y queseyo.

Segundo, lo de hackers me parece algo que depende del sistema de anti-cheat del juego supongo yo.

Con respecto al punto uno, es un bajon para nosotros también porque pagamos lo q pagan en paises con sueldos muchísimos mas decentes q los nuestros, y que sean unos chantas amarretes del orto que compran barato como los giles de r/steamregionaltricks no depende de nosotros lamentablemente.

Con esto dicho, hablando con un amigo me decía que ni compre el juego porque bajo la cantidad de jugadores desde el finde gratis, que fue cuando yo y otros amigos jugamos.
Me puse a ver el punto de encuentro y ahora hay unos constantes 10k comparado al finde gratis que hubo un pico de 40k jugadores (htps://steamdb.info/app/671860/charts/#1m).
También vi un post que anda en lo mismo que yo, decía que practicamente los sv de latam eran solo BRs o sea nada de español y que hay pocos servers desde el finde gratis(htps://steamcommunity.com/app/671860/discussions/4/4038104598697014723).
Ademas de una review que te tira abajo también por motivos parecidos de que solo hay BRs y que manejan nomas ellos los servers (htps://steamcommunity.com/id/charlesjetski/recommended/671860/).

Y me vas a decir q tiene q ver todo esto, que si el finde gratis se lleno, si lo ponen mas barato o sea en regional, especulando va a haber más jugadores latam y mas sv latam.
