#Trophy Systems should block RPGs

It seems right, but the cost/benefit equation of that would be HEAVILY skewed on trophy side, given that it alredy invalidates any grenades
If you're too lazy to read it, I said that it should be a completely different device entirely.
And that it should divert the rocket, not send it to the shadow realm.

Like the C4 suggestion, i'm against it because it would make them too strong depending on the place you put them, choke points etc.
Or it needs a drawback, like the trophy being destroyed after blocking X ammount of grenades etc, even that wouldn't be a huge drawback as support can easily place an other one, but you get the idea
If you throw grenade at an arch over a group hiding amongst trophies, the aoe will do damage
throw it at an arc not at it
still does it, if it detonates outside its range, thats outside the power of the trophy, what does this have to do with RPGs?
Just saying aoe will still do damage
it will only remove the projectile if its in range
so it is doing its job, mitigating damage to its capabilities.

you can shoot it, you can blow it up with a well-timed nade, you can hit it with a car

a completely separate device should be designed to thwart rockets, having it in the same package as an anti-throwable would be overpowered.
It was kind of ignored when i said in the other thread that trophies should block bullets, would be pretty cool imo.
you should solve the problem by its root, heat rpg is way too versatile and spammable

wish this was suggested in a 2 in 1 manner c4 and RPG thingy
C4 spam can be mitigated easily if the amount of C4 available to the medic was reduced from 6 to 2-3
yeah I made the same suggestion in #1178376805955153920 in regards to how many C4 people can get

Tbh, I don't mind C4 as a support player. If a player is able to get close to my position and detonate it, its his win. High risk high reward ๐ช
But rpgs are just stupid, engis can carry 7 rpgs and just spam the shit out of them
thats not true. Number is 6 at the max and our loadouts slow us down.

as for spamming them, you still need to reload the thing manually, and nothing quickens the pace there.
I shoot my rockets primarily from moving helis
eh tbh I dont mind if the trophy doesn't block RPGs
๐ we also reload our weapons manually and our loadouts are slow from the get go
when people place trophys its most of the time when theres a bunch of sandbag cover
so the sandbags already have a high chance of blocking them
doesnt need to block it, just divert it
maybe when Oki makes the Frag actually useful for anti-infantry maybe then it would be fair for trophy to block those shots
a portable concave shield would be nice but that would ruin the the theme of battlebit
on the other hand, we could always get a riotshield

sometimes it doesn't render on an enemy and you dump your mags wondering wtf is happening
then you get third partied
that's not riot shield not loading in, that's hitreg going to shiet
not many people run riot shield
No like I just see guy standing with no riot shield and shoot him
but after death when he comes closer, his riot shield loads

Could just reduce number of rpgs by 1, decrease cone angle or aoe significantly and increase vehicle damage to have the same possible max dmg.
Rpg spam reduced with almost no impact on vehicle balance?
