#Increase the limit for the number of landmines

For game beginners, there needs to be a low-efficiency but simple way for them to kill enemies. Currently, the limit for the number of landmines is 4, hoping it can be increased to 16.
New players need some time to familiarize themselves with the maps and gameplay, during which the gaming experience for most is less than ideal. For a casual game, this could discourage many new players who don't have enough time to adapt to the game mechanics.This method can help them transition more smoothly through the beginner phase.
What if veteran players use landmines against new players? Actually, it's not a big deal. New players may be killed by various weapons; death isn't scary, what's scary is dying continuously.

4's Already too many for most medium-sized maps with tight engagements

Don't think there's too many "game mechanics" to adapt to, if you've ever played anything remotely close to battlefield, you can play this game.

beginners with mines will get more teamkills than kills. Increasing that number doesn't help them in any way

If 16 landmines are still too many, can reduce to 12 or 8. For beginners, I hope there is a low-efficiency but simple way to kill enemies, the purpose of which is to help them get through the early stages of the game. They can get familiar with the map while placing mines.

AV mines? Yes. Classic Anti personal mines and Claymore? No. Claymore/AP Mines are here to secure your back/position or Alarm you from intruders. Not be dropped like some small pocket bread for pigeon to die on it, in order to inflate your score.

Increasing the number probably wouldn't do sh*t anyway, since you blow one, and the one next to it also explode. They're hella visibles, and the only time people use it, is in front of ennemy spawn 💀

Now, if you buff AV mines to a point of then being good, every engi would be using them for free kills, spamming them on roads and locking spawn down

Nevermind the fact that as others said this more often than not lead to “free multikill” situations because some new player/griefer had the bright idea to spam them near teammates.

Don’t make questionable play/trolling easier, game will never benefit from that.

so.. 4 mines that one shoot enemies in AoE (and can trigger other explosives) and can be placed into textures is not enough?
