imo recon seems to be dead AF after the patch because of these changes to scopes etc. if you want to make people play it like a scout or smth like that at least reward them with 200 or so exp for pinging buddies, maybe more for vehicles
man I hated that class myself until now because its just pity how they would look in the near future

I'd even restrict live pinging for long scopes and binoculars/drones, as to give them a defined role.
