I'm probably the only player to use binocular when playing recon
I still think that they are not useful enough.
I think that equip a range finder and/or an auto-ping (the ping can last longer) on them could be an idea
I dont know how to balance it but for the moment it's only zoom go brrr
(I also discovered that the chief class had the soflam binocular I don't know if you can get it curently in game but it pretty much partially does what I'm talking about)

recon's advanced binoculars not having range built-in and not having an amplified ping on vehicles nor any upsides to just using your sniper scope to ping, is really unfortunate
I use binoculars too cause I run a 4x on my sniper rifle to avoid glint, and I don't run a rangefinder cause I just don't like that constant heads-up display
but I guess that won't matter anyways, doesn't seem like they've got plans to make the binoculars more than just civilian-grade, and they're seemingly adding glint to medium scopes (4x), so binoculars are even more useless
