now it’s so stupid but please hear me out. I am a sniper in your game. i love just sitting in buildings my engie blew up for me and clicking on heads. this is a tedious task though, as i must account for my own solo survivability (most of the time) AND counteract the boredom of having to wait for people by playing on my phone…this could all be curved with one item..

A RADIO!

it doesn’t have to be anything super fancy, just something that plays some music (even just instrumentals) that the sniper can pick as a secondary gadget. in other, popular games like battlebit “joke” items have been added (such as the kolibri in BF) that players love and remember fondly. adding a radio for the snipers to use would make the in game experience much more enjoyable and is much easier than players needed to open a tab, open spotify, play their music, tweak the volume, and then reopen battlebit.

please consider this idea. i love you guys please keep this game awesome ❤️

adding on, i’d imagine it wouldn’t be too resource intensive for you guys. just a 3D model, a couple sound files, and a falloff radius for the sound

Lovely idea, there could be a folder where people just throw in files and the radio loops over them.

But your title also made my mind go in a bit of a different direction. Sometimes as a sniper, I can see someone sneaking around in a place with too much cover and/or distance for me to do something about, and I wish I could shout at the friendlies I see over on that side to alert them.

So maybe we could have a walkie-talkie with some frequencies that anyone can tune into (friend and foe) so that you can just do cross-map idle talk or banter with both friendly and enemy snipers, but also occasionally it would have the practical use of letting others know what's going on (with the balancing factor that, being open frequencies, you never know if an enemy might also be listening in).

And if the tank spotter seat could get a built-in radio so they can also coordinate with other people on the ground, that would be chef's kiss

Bro made a suggestion post basically asking if the developer can make him a radio? Dawg you got Spotify, hell even get a 2nd monitor and a Netflix subscription 💀

adding an in game item way easier than opening spotify, tweaking the volume so you can still hear, picking songs, etc. simply being a hater for no reason yet i still hope you have a good rest of the year ❤️

Adding an in game item is no where easier or less work than opening a installed program on your computer and hitting play

Hey moron, this is a suggestion thread, where you present your best argument for why something should be in the game. If immersion isnt a part of his argument, why should i assume it is at all a significant reason he wants the suggestion implemented?

Have you considered not assuming anything at all and just asking them what they think instead? That is, in case you're not fully aware, how normal people communicate and it's actually a very easy thing to do on platforms like these that allow you to asynchronously exchange messages at your leisure such that you're not actually pressured to make stupid communicative assumptions on the fly. Glad to be of service. :)
