As we all know, VOIP was a big part of battlebits success, creating unique, fun and memorizing moments that we may still laugh at when we spent a thought about it.
You see, since not everyone has a soundboard or the possibility to become a bard, I'd propose, if possible, to add the option to allow system sounds to be transfered over VOIP.

I see this option on most Internet communication tools (Teams, Zoom etc.) and that is somehow possible without additional audio drivers or audio setting changes. So I thought that there must be a way to implement that for BBR too maybe? Basically it would then transfer everything you hear.

Sounds from the game should not be transferred to prevent reverberation. Additionally when this option is ticked please make a popup with the content of !playingmusic (also the rules of the command are pretty much contradicted by the fact that you can put up to 500% output value, which - is like insanely high).

Info Can I get banned by playing music in game?..

While we allow you to play music, you could get moderated for a few things:

  • Being too loud, earpiercing, distorting, hurts to hear
  • Purposely using it to annoy other players, especially content creators
  • Has words in that break other rules, for instance, the N word, big no, no

Long walk for a short glass of water, while also increasing the risk that people share something through desktop audio they did not intend to.

Additionally giving this option to everyone will easily create a 254 man lobby where EVERYONE is sending desktop audio and I'd rather not put myself or anyone else through that.

Don’t do it, I work in audio engineering and was very well known in game for doing this. I can’t recommend this since I’ve been banned many times for this. For playing it too loud, playing it at all, or even playing rap music. I additionally say to be hesitant on doing this as some software (like the compression and boost programs I used) are flagged by the EaC. System sounds over voip would be a bad idea but if you can use a program like voice meter or other software you can play tracks per channel output. Not a bad idea just need to be careful how you go about it
