I love the game but I feel like the ping system is a bit lacking. improving it and making it more clear, visible and maybe even last a little longer would improve the gameplay also.
if you ping an enemy would be nice if it could sound different so to alert more as an audio cue.
I don't think a system like in warzone 2 is fitting the game spirit, but those little faint pins that disappear immediately are a bit pointless.

Or if you hold down whatever button you have ping binded to, a small wheel could come it with different types of pings (watch out for sniper, vehicle, Look here, Going this way, etc)
Think of it as the Hell Let Loose ping wheel

and maybe even showing it on the map. and if red share it within squads. it makes sense that each squad sees the info and red ones, but would be nice if those red ones would be shared to the whole team and be more prominent and easier to spot. it's good info and would give a bit more sense to the action

If so, we it could be binded by default to a key combination - Alt+Mouse wheel for the expanded wheel, simple mouse wheel for ping, Holding mouse wheel for the building menu
