=Explanation=
-A way to customize weapons to resemble legendary classics that we all got used to.

=Positive matters=
-Weapons equipped with retro attachments would increase experience gained per kill.
-The experience increase refers to both player account level and weapon level. (single % per piece and up 10% for the whole kit for weapon XP, as for character XP it can be achieved only with a whole kit assembled)

=Balancing=
-To balance the experience gain, other stats would be either neutral or negative in nature as they would be in practice decreasing effectiveness of the weapon,
due to older and outdated equipment being used.
-Furthermore to balance the experience gain, some attachment options would be limited (due to lack of attaching options).

=Acquirement=
-Attachments would start to become available at low/middle levels.

=Examples=
-Thumbnail included are some examples of such attachments ,that being the classic vietnam-era ''pencil'' furniture on a M16A1 or the M14 stock from wich the EBR is derived as well as the good ol' folder wooden AK 47. (Examples and combinations are possibly endless).

Please do comment if you find any feedback for the proposition.

they prob won’t cuz oki wants to keep it kinda realistic

that's the thing here, everything is realistic since these things still get scrounged up in modern conflicts

#

and it's nothing crazy just what was previously used in terms of stocks, foregueards and such

sounds cool n all, but since it decreases the effectiveness of the weapon, wouldnt that mean that allot less people are actually gonna care about these?

Things like this could be included in a nonconventional faction. Insurgents, militia, or middle eastern alliance for example.

some people care more about aesthetics some about stats, always a struggle, this way it is at least some way balanced
no true way of knowing before being implemented, and it's something that is neither OP nor impacts the gameplay in a negative way

it's just a way to get classic look on guns without being a just a straight downgrade, it would still be a pleanty usable gun
