I don't see this working, not that I am opposed but like I see this going wrong on a technical level.. with mountains of bugs to fix and on a community level, like gta levels of griefing, and maybe if it's just one of those supply drop boxes, go and pick it up and move it around but I see pilots harassing sniper players or squads who supply drop them selves more ammo with this instead of being a helpful.

i see your point, i dont look at it from a programing side so i couldnt comment on if it would be hard or easy to implement. but your points are sound
would need to pick up a vehicle or such, avoid the Clang (Using the Space engineer's term because fitting) and keep the inertia of it with the helicopter as well other things is first thing I am thinking of

it could work the same as the tow rope for troops, wait a second it "loads" the vehicle, touches ground it comes off. you get transport points if someone uses it. you dont if they dont. and if enemy capture it, well, its no longer yours.
Perhaps it would also need to change it so only either the rappelling rope or sling load was down, because if say we had a Humvee, it would most likely mean the Humvee's hitbox is still existent (it would be weird to have an invincible Humvee) most likely a player on the rappelling rope could get hit by the Humvee and fall to their death. If this idea gets passed and implemented it would be interesting if they design a way to knock the vehicle being carried off the Heli. (Wonderous idea though, once on Zalfi we had 3 little birds and were so bored we did a race around all the objectives to see who would get blown up first.)
Would be neat if you could transport supply box drop ins from the base, that spawn periodically.
