Enable to toggle in-game with a key to hide the chat or shown when someone has sent a message then slowly hides.
Sometimes it's annoying seeing chat pop up looking at a pointless argument and want to focus on the gameplay.
Would be a quality of life to hide it and Play the game.

agreed, it's impossible to follow a conversation with a small chatbox in a 250 player server, and sometimes you address a player in chat and they might easily miss it
