#Armor rework

right now most armors are not really worth using (except maybe ranger but that's because u get a lot of ammo)

right now on paper it should improve your survivability but in reality all it does is to slow you down and make you an easier target (especially exo armor for support class) and that doesn't even cover all your body (your legs and arms are completely exposed)

What i suggest here is that make armor like CS1.6 where armor has it's own separate HP and add a "penetration" stat to all weapons

(This is JUST AN EXAMPLE, just to showcase how the mechanic would work, don't take this literally)
Let's say we have AK5C that does 34 damage with 0.6 penetration
when you get shot with that while waring armor you take 20.4 damage yourself while your armor takes 34 damage
then we have AK74M that does 31 damage with 1.0 penetration and it does 31 to you and your body armor

now you have 2 different weapons that do better against different types of targets (armored vs not armored)

also the armor reduces your running / ads speed (as it does right now) and can still be destroyed (once it reaches 0 HP) and it wont reduce the damage anymore BUT you go back to having normal running/ads speed once your armor reaches 0 HP

then you can maybe have "armor plates" that are an item just like bandages where everyone gets them (if you have equipped armor on your character) and you use those to replenish your armor's HP back to 100
also you can resupply those just like bandages

the idea here is that give armor more depth while also making it worth using (right now most people just run medic with either no armor or ranger for extra ammo and speed) and i think an armor rework would bring the survivability of other classes (like support) up to medic's standard while also giving the devs another tool to balance the weapons (like the earlier example where a weapon does better against flesh targets while another does better against armored targets)
