it would if we had autorotate
oki would also have to make it so you dont lose all inputs and lose rotor rpm instantly if you turned it off
yeah, it would take some work
i think tial rotor should just not be affected by splash damage
that'd be fine
because theres no way getting hit basically anywhere on the helicopter from a btr is a direct hit on your tail rotor
it haas to be splash damage too
but having autorotate, the ability to correct ATRQ would be great for everyone I think and worth the changing of controls not working when the engine is off
hardcore control mode but more manuverability 🙏
it would be less painful if it wasn't a guaranteed shoot down
eh
it'd be a little too strong if you could
well well
maybe option to repair rotor with enough time
after crash landing
thats another thing, the ability to repair rotors at base, or having to 100% the chopper once the blades are gone
or alternatively make it so helicopter pilots need to have game audio on
some of these people must be oki's experimental AI
I mean, its what we are talking about, instead of a shootdown a pilot can autorotate or try to fly it back to base instead of just "spin and die"
still gotta give a chance for the helicopter to actually die
not as easily but still
meaning a good pilot can pull his bird out of the shit if he's got the time
well yeah Tail rotor generally doesn't mean much for a helo's health
its either basically a thrid of the health of the LB, or barely anything on the blackhawk
its hp is like 300 right? at least on the blackhawk
IDK
for most pilots if they fly low, they'll crash before they are able to correct, if they have altitude they got to fly back
remove the low part and you described normal BBR pilots
I meant more if the tail rotor got blown off while pilots are low
they still have to acknowledge its loss and try to correct
its not a get out of jail free card, if they cant they still crash as normal
ok that does sound fair
Brother, are ypu getting rid of the only true wsy to fly bh/kagos?
I fly low enough to be head height almost with the atvs
...?
I'm saying that if they get hit while flying low, if they can correct they can fly away and repair
(Ive only died once from smashing the heli into the ground while trying to fly that low)
Ahhh
instead of being forced into spinning out and dying
I thought diffrent than lmao
Yeah
It sucks for me when i get shot out in low alttitudes as well due to no warning there is no pilot, and if a skilled pilot gets shot out often than not the next pilot cant fly as well, and kills the heli trying to get it back to base
helo = no tail rotor = able to correct and maybe fly away, instead of helo = no tail rotor = spinout and death. opening up a higher skill ceiling, but not losing that cinematic touch
also fair, there should be some kind of restriction from the glass. maybe its own healthpool like armor that it can take, say 75-100 damage before it breaks?
cause any flat reduction beyond a miniscule one would be too strong against anything that isn't a sniper
sounds like a good idea
I've been able to crush enemy helicopters at their base on Invasion when they land and blow them up with the blackhawk and LB. I wonder if I can do the same for a tank by pushing him into the ground.
Add thirdperson need
Slaz may disagree, but third perso camera would be very nice addition, and very needed. Mostly for ground vehicles, so players can see anything round them when driving.
Not even for AFV, but for anyone that tries to drive a jeep
Especially when devs want to lean more into arcade. Like BF or PS2 have
The rotor hits are too strong and too annoying, Could it instead, make the copter hard to ascend, slowed to 2/3 and give it a little random directional change? This way if the pilot overextended and is close to the lav or the boat who shot it, he will still be a sitting duck and an easy target. But "lucky" shots from half across the map won't be so annoying. and it would still be very punishing as we'd have to fly back to base and get it fixed.
Nah, just increase the amount of hp you have left after you crash so that you actually stand a chance of fighting off 2 players with smgs and also make them respawn faster.
No, because it ruins the fun anyway... You had a good pilot who know how to stay alive, gunners were finally killing a few, the boys in the back bop their head at the music and you finally got a repair... There is no guarantee at all that the pilot in the next quickly respawned copter will be good at all.
bad take
good take
The second non in-game cinematic for the game World in Conflict called "New York".
Testing out the range in which the miniguns bullets are registered correctly
@wraith citrus
Wrong channel
?
ah right
Funny
Learn how to play with it, because I can bet my life savings it won't be fixed in 2024
Tho I want to be proved wrong
I'm not sure where to put this, but I wish there was a way to practice flying (I've not checked the shooting range in a while, so if they added it there just tell me)
thirdperson add
Something I wanted to ask. I believe the transport helicopter is just exactly that to transport and the little bird is a one man mobile AA gunner. Why not just give everyone 3 choices. Little bird. Transport. And a new attack. The attack might be able to carry 4 people, pilot, single gunner(shoots sniper rounds so 2hit kill not super accurate but enough for 200m shots with skill. And the ability to zoom such as apc’s), and 2 passenger spots. Maybe. Has a 3 m rope so can’t really be very high and carry rope hangers. Personally I would like the cannons form the apc on the heli but that might be a bit unbalanced but a great model to bring over.
What real life vehicle would this be based on?
Apache...?
Probably Apache. Or the Russian super hind
The Apache has hard points for two crazy mfs to ride harnessed in
