yes, and since then we have gotten zombie and survivor skins and adjusted a few things

at the moment it's 64v64 frontline but nothing is set in stone and there will be lots of balancing since we haven't had the opportunity to test with more than like 12 players.

After a few initial balancing issues, we have had a lot of fun this evening!
We will find a way to prevent humans from spawn camping and add zombie classes and player loadout progression and keep balancing.
Due to the spawn camping/AFK issue, while admins are not online to force end the game when there are no more killable humans left, the server will run FRONTLINE as that mode will end when zombies push all the way through the objectives.
It's a lot of fun!

The server is always online. If we are actively developing/feature testing on it, we will lock it with a password (zomborg).
Be aware that this server is european and hence will probably only have players to EU peak times.

no, sorry, we are currently using moderators from our own community and since we only have one server right now, that's sufficient. but once oki allows for more servers, we're probably gonna need more.

Hello friends, me again. Thank you for bearing with us through these initial times that require lots of additions and changes.
This game mode is very complex with lots of nuances so blanacing will still take a long time since we have to tweak individual things and see how they behave, and there is a lot to tweak.

For now we have restructured the whole mode since it grew very much and added state management to base most functionality on the state manager. That will not do much for you, as a player, however it enables us to change things faster.
What we did change that affects you, as players, is:
- Initial game phase and build phase is now human only, all players will be humans
- After build phase, a random selection of players is selected and turned into zombies in the middle of the humans, to maybe get a few surprise kills. Also everyone will have the same chance to become a zombie, instead of being tied to your loading speed.
- Added progressive human loadouts: You spawn with pistol, and the less humans there are, the more of your loadout you will receive
- Added zombie classes which are limited by amount per class and limited by how many zombies (percentage) can have a class at all. Classes are Tank (incoming bullet damage reduced to 1%), Boomer (suicide c4), Flasher (flashbangs), Hunter (super speed), Jumper (super jump), Climber (Grappling hook) and Shielded (Riot Shield)
We are hoping to get capture speed multiplier in tonights update, which we will then set to 0 and use ELIMINATION as mode, since you can't base camp there.
All these changes are completely untested and will definitely break in the beginning, so we will restrict access to the server using a password which will be in the server title, just to make sure that you know that you are joining a highly experimental phase.

i went to the searcbar and typed zombies but nothing showed up
you need to have all maps selected, 64vs64 and community servers
it should work if you do that
i just got kicked by the anti cheat ._. for no reason

Lots of changes and we had great fun today! This is how the mode currently works:
At the start, everybody is human. You get 2 minutes and 500 squad points to build your defenses.
After the 2 minutes are up, 11 humans (or 15% of max players) get randomly chosen to become infected and turn into a zombie.
Any human that dies will become a zombie and respawn at the location where they have died, in the middle of the humans.
Humans:
- Normal stats
- Can't use NVGs
- No friendly markers
- No hitmarkers
- Can self-heal
- Only medics can revive
- No support/engineer because of broken barbed wire slow effect range
Humans start with pistols and receive more of their loadout the less humans there are (at 50/50 they have their full loadout)
The bot has deleted the zombies section so you have to guess how they work for now.
hey @south karma would like to know if there is plans to resolve the user ping limit for the server as I will be constantly kicked from the server due to my ping (connecting from OCE region) ?

I have not set a specific ping limit for the server, it uses default values. I doubt playing from OCE on EU servers will be a fun experience. The code is public so if an OCE server hoster wants to host this game mode for their region, they can.

about 16.00 cet is when people start coming in, at around 18.00 the server's basically full
currently I am writing down all safe zone corner coordinates to automate safe zone camping prevention, it's gonna take some time. since we only have this one server it will be password protected until I have finished with the mapping, then I will open it back up again.

make sure you have the community servers enabled in the server browser, type "zombie" in the filter and it should be there somewhere on the list

FUCK THIS GAMES ANTICHEAT, i'm getting kicked all the time on this server only 
there are several people who have trouble with getting kicked by anticheat but it's only a very small number

"very small number" i was getting kicked every 5 min from this server, same with some people in chat
Prolly my fav zombie server atm , played around 15hrs already , i recommend giving it a try
Development is very active, multiple zombie classes, building, preparation phase, zombies can infect, good balancing and it will only get better as time goes on, especially once “modding” is not gonna be as limited as it is now
i think once oki makes community servers public or accepts more applications, the code for zombies from what i heard is gonna be open for everyone so some1 might open an asian server
the question is whether there r enough asian players for that to be worth doing
increasing the default ping limit could help for now
honestly 180-200ms is playable

afaik mocfunky/battlebit friends is hosting this for NA
before the update yesterday there were 295 instances of kicked by anticheat with reason speedhack in 3-4 hours. after the update, the whole of yesterday, there were only 2. one of which was you, unfortunately.
but the situation with anti cheat being angry about speedhack has improved drastically.
is there a way to disable the anti grenade trophies? because there isnt anyway to break them without the boomer mutation and it makes areas impossible to push
why is the server locked?
because the mode is currently under heavy development and without a moderator online is easily griefed until we have the exclusion zones working

Hello friends, we have completed mapping the majority of areas on all maps that should not be accessible to humans (human spawn area, deep water). You can have a look at all the exclusion zones in our discord (#1118824131127947315 message).
There will definitely be holes and places where humans can still access deep water or areas where zombies can not kill them, however we will adjust the exclusion zones during gameplay to remove every last one of those cheese spots.
We would appreciate if you joined us on <t:1694017800:f> (<t:1694017800:R>) to help and test the exclusion zones. Specifically, try and find places that we have missed and should be exclusion zones.

yeah because axioms zombie server had all the zombie players
there's only so few players who play this game mode
having two servers will always cause one of them to be empty
Oh maybe I was mistaking servers. There was full zombie server? I couldn’t find any yesterday
My friends, since there are only about 80-120 players who play this zombie mode but two EU zombie servers with over 430 slots combined, it has become clear that it is not useful to run a server myself, especially since everybody plays on the other server.
I am also unable to continue developing on the zombies game mode since there is nobody here to test changes or new features with, so we will shut down the zombie project for BiG and instead do something else. Probably KOTH.
The Zombie game mode will not be developed further on my GitHub, this is now in the hands of everybody else who is hosting this mode. Good luck!
