i really enjoy the game and i wanna buy it in steam, but I do not understand the price difference, in Russia the game costs 690 rubles, which is translated into 8.25 dollars, and in Kazakhstan 6500 tenge is 14.39 dollars, I am from Russia and would like to purchase at a Russian price, steam support cannot transfer my account.
Is there any way to buy it in russian price ?
#Question about price in cis countries

same problem with friends. and friends from Kazakhstan also do not want to take the game because of the price
great. everyone plays and they don't give a fuck about the problems of some homeless people. Kazakhstan is actually not a small country. why do admins ignore her so much? the second largest in the CIS and not the first among the rich for sure. why even for Russia, hated by many, they made a regional price, and for Kazakhstan they didn’t even try to throw off a fucking dollar...
yep, for most games price is almost the same
i just cant afford it for such high price
btw for 5 dollars i can eat few days(student)
as far as i believe this is a steam issue not a battlebit issue
should be focusing on more pressing issues if you cant buy a 15 USD game
In russia avrg mounth salary around 400$(not part-time job), i cant do anything with that
Still, should probably focus more on living then if you can afford a game :/
Be in Russia I assume
Im in Russia rn, cuz of steam terms i cant add cart to my account
As support says only way to transfer account is add card and buy smthng from it
while the white people are enjoying the game, the kazakhs have to pay full price for the servers! (just kidding, don't hurt me)
Can Russian players even use Steam due to the sanctions? But I presume not and it's fully intentional. So yeah don't expect to find a way
We are all paying full price, some countries just have money worth less than others
Yep, but some games unavailable in Russia, thats why a lot of us swiching region to Kazakhstan or Turkey
We, as other gamers around the world wanna play games and enjoy normal life, but our goverment said no(
Not at all, food and things cost the same, just salary difference
3rd world countries
Labor is much cheaper, for exampe after graduation a lot of people will get around 40-60k rubles wich is 475-715$
or even less if you live not in big cities
In my region, the average salary is 20k rubles ~ 235$
Like i just said
your currency is worth less therefore salary is way more
but it doesnt matter when the thing you want is from a place with one of the highest worth of currency beside GBP and a Euro
your knowledge of economics is simply amazing. but you don’t wonder why then they came up with regional pricing at all?
I don't want to defend the government, but don't lie. The government of the Russian Federation is only to blame for the fact that Steam and others cannot accept our banks for payment. All other restrictions are imposed solely by the rights holders of individual products.
Me too. The 6.4k tenge price tag irritates me so bad
The price is too high for Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is a CIS country.
So you actually have a chance of buying the game, the price was already lowered quite a bit for cis countries and i doubt they can lower it anyfurther or else they will be losing money which is needed for the support of the game
they techincally already are with the prices
Kazakhstan isn't included in the price lowering.
most likely you are not aware ... in Kazakhstan the price has not been reduced and it still costs the same $ 15. and in Russia, for some reason, it is almost two times cheaper, although Kazakhstan is a little poorer than it. I repeat: in Kazakhstan, the price did not decrease.
If you lower the Russian prices, why not lower the Kazakhstan prices? Why make a country pay full price when the one next to it can save half of their money?
Yep
Deprived Kazakhstan as usual
i hate this kind of entiltled people so much just because you live in a wealty country and have an absourd view of the world
valid
how is that entitled, i have worked my ass of for every game i own and my pc, earlier i had to focus on work to be able to buy my setup. it is liturally just him prioriticing complaning in a discord over taking extra shifts. BTW yes the pricing should change not against that
average racist not understanding how regional income works. you live in denmark bro, average salary for you is 85k, average salary in russia is 15k. its not a matter of extra shifts, he would have to work 5x more than you to receive the same amount of money. thats an over simplification that doesnt take into account educational and job opportunities etc that even allow you to work for a wage in the first place.
average idiot who anwsers before reading. first of all know youre terms, that wasnt rasicm, secondly read what i wrote.
btw quick tip, read what racism actually is
And you should read everything that is written besides the word "racist"
6k kzt for a game is not much, average factory worker in kazakhstan makes like 300k tenge
Hey um, hate to be "that guy" and I don't want conflict. I feel like people should really do more research before they start going like "just work harder!" I probably need to do more research myself, and I don't know much about the world. But I'm pretty sure that pricing is different around the world. And even if this isn't you being racist, at least to me it comes off as somewhat discriminatory. Of course, I'm kind of dumb so don't take my opinion too seriously.
i did smartass, what made you think i didnt
well, first off i actually wrote that i agreed that the prices should be changed and saying that if you can barely afford food, maybe buying a game isnt the smartest idea. pretty simple logic, dont understand you guys find that racist
Thank you
maybe i could have made the point about me agreeing on the price change more clear
but the racist thing im baffled makes no sence to me
Yeah, I didn't pick up on that for some reason
a few people didnt lol
It actually seems to be an option that steam offers as most games seem to use it. They will price the game by purchasing power within region, to then only permit using the game within that region. There're few games on steam that are over 20$ with most around 10$, as in, in kazakhstan.
