It's just a tad ridiculous the only way to customise loadouts is in game. It wastes time. Why no let us do it from the main menu before joining a server, so we don't waste game time?

To add to the above, unlocked weapons should be at the top of the list on the left side of the screen. Right now it's necessary to scroll way too much to see what you have available.
Additionally, character customization should be separate for US and RU sides.

Character customisation already is separate for both teams. But it sucks that you can't change your character gear until you're on that specific team.

Time that could be spent on Quality-Of-Life features is instead being spent on map redesigns and the upcoming SMG overhaul.
Honestly, they just made a few million dollars, I'm sure they could hire a couple of interns to work on the QOL features

Most modern Battlefield games had it in some form.
BF3, BF4, and BF1 had it through Battlelog.
BF V has it through the mobile companion app.
I haven't played BF 2042 so I can't speak for that.
