You go prone too quickly and get up from prone too quickly, and when you are prone you are automatically at an advantage because your helmet will simply block 95% of your shootable hitbox.

Make proning take longer, getting up from prone take longer.

Did you really just make the point of your helmet, AKA YOUR HEAD, blocking the hitbox? Mate thatll kill them the fastest

#

Do you aim at feet normally?

No. Feet are objectively an unattractive bodypart

It's almost like going prone is supposed to reduce your hitbox, no wonder this thread got ratio'd so hard

I think this is what @dense moon meant in his original post ^

The armour system in-game doesn't transfer additional damage done to armour over to the player afaik. Example, armour has 20 HP, you fire a 40 damage round at that piece of armour, the armour absorbs it all and doesn't transfer the extra damage across.

This makes armour, especially EXO for support (As in these two clips), VERY powerful. However, this still applies to other classes as the helmet hitbox becomes much larger.

#

I haven't explicitly tested that, more from experience of running medic and having my helmet popped off but not needing to heal over it.

It does

Its meant to anyway

Well, to me it does not make sense that people who go prone are still able to shoot, that is my issue.
Want to go or get out of prone., sure, by all means, but use your hands, like we all need to, and thus no shooting.

BTW this thread will by nature have more 'pro prone' people react negative on it, then positive, since you would be taking something away, and nobody involved likes that.
So don't read to much in the 60+ negative reactions.
