is there a way to disable it? like in battlefield you only see them when they are in sight.

you can go into gameplay settings and actually change the size of them. i put mine to .5 so they are visible enough to tell a friendly is whos running across the open field over and enemy so i dont waste time aiming to get the shot. if you set it to 0 they are completely gone but it might be alil hard to tell the difference between enemy and friendly atm

Yeah I was about to make a topic of my own about this, on 127vs127 I get so tired after 30 minutes of play, sometimes I see those dots ahead of me, I see a enemy who just line up with a dot and then I dont react its an enemy and he kills me, it should be like in BF, friendlys in sight should see it.

I heard that Oki dident want it that way but have it as a toggle would not be bad at all or they dont know how to do it, idk.. 😦

It should be fixed somehow in the future i hope. if it takes much perfomance then just let it be a option in the settings that you can turn on or off

I've stopped playing till the enemy/friendly visibility thing is sorted. All those dots are overwhelming and picking out enemies from friendlies is pretty difficult but more of that in #1119943659333365810

I think they shouldn't remove this function, but just have the option to enable/disable. Having all the dots there helps players see how's the frontline's doing without opening the map, and know whether your teammates got your flanks covered

I mean I wish they'd make hud things disappear at a certain distance, is even a problem in conquest with capture points I can be driving to a close by point and the close by point wont even display on my screen, but I'll see the capture point on the other side of the map pop up

although we have been getting a lot of QoL changes, which is a good sign?

Yeh it also just feels bad when you do nighttime on a map, sure you can change the colour of them but feels like it clutters the screen so much during night time

At the very least I think making it so the friendly dots disappear or go much dimmer when you aim is a good place to start

I think they should scale with distance and if you are aiming at a team mate. I'd also prefer to have a mini map too that shows where they are. Either of these options should be dependent on difficulty settings though.
