Not only that HEAT rockets after the Heli HP buff struggle killing helicopters I hit a Black Hawk with 2 RPG HEAT warheads and it didn't go down.
I suggest buffing fragmentation rockets for anti infantry and anti air use.
currently it's just so much better to run heat > frag, since you basically just trade away a bit of your meat explody power, for having the ability to destroy covers at long ranges for your teammates to light up whatever's behind them, and the ability to beat vehicles
dont get me wrong it's not heat is too powerful, it's just frags are lacking
meanwhile ground vehicles, biting the pillow from any of the launchers
Yup, fragmentation needs a big boost in damage, upped hit radius (same thing for HEAT), and increased ammo capacity, the rocket is small and weighs less than HEAT rockets too IRL.
if anything other rpgs need to be toned down
HEAT should really not be oneshotting in a wide area like a frag grenade
(frag grenades, themselves, need toning down but that's beside the point)
it should still really hurt, and kill if very close, but not instantly kill with anything more than a very close shot
it would make sense if frag rockets had more similar splash to frag grenades, but at the current level of frag grenades that would make them ridiculously strong

Also giving the same amount of frag rounds as the light heat because you get 1-2 less
yeah, frag is basically useless rn except in tunnels or in rushes
They could also make it have a larger radius and more or same rounds of the light heat that would be good if they don’t want to increase the damage because right now it has almost the same blast aoe as heat at least that what it feels like
I wondered if I was crazy. Frag RPG needs a buff. It feels like it has no explosive radius. I'd rather use a grenade, haha.
HEAT kills infantry, cover, and vehicles more effectively than Fragmentation.
Make Frag have a larger explosive radius, or at least more/faster bleeding power if it doesnt outright kill. Also it would make sense to increase its damage against air targets considering it enters the skin of the aircraft and detonates outward compared to the HEAT which is a jet of molten metal forwards.
