FYI game runs amazing on steam deck

Figured I'd let everybody know playing it on the steam deck while at work just going to say this quite amazing runs great had a tinker with the controls but did three rounds no issues

Would be great if there was controller support

Set the controls up withe control panel in steam deck i got me set nicely its just mess around and you will find your perfect settings

The reason I got this game was not just because its cool, but because it runs on low spec hardware. I can play it well on an old Intel laptop

And I exclusively use Linux for work and privacy purposes

This game will eventually use faceit for all official servers. Some custom servers can choose to use eac down the line. do with that what you will

What silent treatment, devstream was explicit in saying faceit is the end goal for official servers, and that Linux users did not make up a significant enough portion for them to adapt to Linux for cheat security reasons. Custom servers will be available if you really want to play battlebit on steam deck as they can choose to use eac

Now I'm glad I didn't give a single penny to these developers. I hope faceit paid the developers good money for this move. I'm waiting for the whining that there will be hackers in the game even after the glorious faceit. (Plus a nonstop running rootkit on your personal computer.) I hope it was worth banning all Linux players. Don't bother with the discord ban, I'm already quiting the group. I wish everyone a future rich in privacy. xoxoxo

Any updates on faceit? I heard recently that they may now use it for a while/ want to think about linux users intentionally. Did anyone else hear anything?

they said in dev talk that faceit is making a new anticheat for them that will support linux
