The only potentially acceptable option would be like image below. This is from an asset pack on the unity store but this could also mean reworking all the interchangable clothing/armour pieces in the game

The reason this is receiving downvotes is likely because you're speaking for everyone. You say everyone doesn't like the models, but I have yet to meet a person who believes that and has said so, minus you of course.
Don't take offense, but to learn from this event, I would try speaking only about what you think unless you have seen plenty of physical evidence to reach the conclusion that many people are behind the sentiment you share yourself.
