The tactical flashlight looks inconvenient because you technically can't just turn it off.
What if I don't need the flashlight at all right now, but I want to aim it at the enemy?

You turn it off, but it turns on when you look through the sight.
You turn it off in the sight, but it turns on when you are not looking through the sight.
Why would that be necessary?

It won't change the mechanics of the tactical flashlights themselves or make them more comfortable.
If I'm not mistaken, the tactical flashlights give a different illumination.
I don't know, you could make them glow red for fun. Yes, such flashlights do exist and are probably used by someone.
