#Remove Squad Auto Lock and Limit Claymore/AP Mines.

Agreed.. TOO many claymores!
I have been in multiple squads that go Lenovo night and support spam claymores at e. You could get about 20 or so claymores down per life and turn any site into a war crime.
Unpopular opinion.
But I don't think limiting the claymores is the solution.
Right now the claymores are pretty much the only thing that stops mindless run n gunning from turbo-vector builds.
In a game this size and this scale.
Minefields are the only thing a defending squad can count on to cover a flank towards a objective.
As this is in the end a objective based game.
A to small of a limit on mines, will render it rather useless.
There is a reason why AP mines in most FPS games, especially claymores are rarely used at all.
Despawn on death/to few to even cover a flank isn't the right approach on "nerfin" claymores or ap mines at all.
Not only that, you would render other builds moot.
What is the incentive for support to use the large backpack if he can't even deploy the amount of mines he can carry?
Tradeoff in becoming slow just isn't worth it.
The best approach to "nerf" claymores would not to set a limit.
But drastically increase time of deployment.
That would also make it more "realistic" as AP mines aren't just thrown on the ground while running around as they are done now.
Have them have a 10-15 second set up time per mine.
This means in order to "spam" mines. One would have to invest a lot of time to do so.
Also it will make them a vournarable target especially against snipers.
People won't be running around deploying mines all over the place as they don't wanna sit for 10 seconds doing nothing ht risking death.
While defensive players who love fortifying position still will find value in making a minefield.
Agreed, I hope they change this
I love fortifying as support
maybe 5-10 instead of 10-15
start at the low end and increase as needed
Pretty much this to every nerf/buff used in a game.
Do small changes untill you hit it right.
