The TTK is WAY too low for how large the maps are. The reason Battlefield works is because of its higher TTK, whereas in this game you see somebody and get 1 shotted when the other guy has armor and takes 5 headshots to kill. Armor increases TTK, but if only one class has it then its useless and makes one class wayyy better than the others. The only saving grace this game has VOIP, which is amazing and hilarious

Its about tactics, the game is meant to simulate war, and war is based on asymetric fighting, some things counter others, and work better in certain situations. A sniper can use range as a defence, while soldiers up and close can use cover to maneuver around and fire from unexpected places, and cause a bit of pressure to anyone not expecting it.

"only one class has [armor]... and it makes one class wayyy better than the others" Once you play a little more, you'll realize that support is the worst class. Mobility is much better than armor. TTK is in a pretty good spot imo. It rewards reaction time, accuracy, positioning, and good movement. Also, play medic. Being able to heal yourself up between fights is huge.

I guess I'm of the unpopular opinion that it's slightly too low, for my personal preference anyways, just a little. Another two of my mates feel the same also, which isn't an issue itself with the game, more of personal preference on pace I guess. In saying that I'm still going to play the heck out of the game and hopefully the pace will feel more normal in time, my mates however are unfortunately passing on it

What euro servers have to do with weapons time to kill?

TTK (time to kill) is amount of time that weapon takes to kill you. Most meta weapons(fal,HB74, groza,) have ttk lower than 200ms. This is about the same speed of human reaction so the death is nearly instantenous and there is no room left to react. So I imply that people that are opposing incresing ttk (making weapons kill slower) are using it as a crutch to be able to kill someone.

Incresing ttk to 300-360ttk would make most weapons like AUG. It is far away from fortnite

The average human reaction speed is 250ms. I feel like I'm a bit slower than that. So fuck that rushing game style. I rather let my team go up first and I follow to heal them.

I haven’t played smaller than 32v matches so dunno what it would do there but i can’t really recall thinking armor is op.

tbf most of the supports weaponry is only good in certain scenarios. by no means is it reliable, and armor gets shreded pretty quickly by fast fire rate. imo the only thing armors good for is preventing snipers from reaming me

TTK feels harsh on first impression, but once you learn to play the game, you can use it to your advantage
