#Make friendly markers on screen change in some way to indicate theyre dead.

Yest totally agree. I just had my first game, and tried to be usefull. It was impossible to see who is down without looking at the map. There should be some clear indicator that friendly is down, similar to how the blue triangle is above their head. I pretty much never revied anyone unless they died right infront of me, simply cause I could never find them in time.
If you're a Medic you will see a pretty good indicator of downed people near you.
can you post a screenshot? I played medic for an hour and saw nothing. Yes an indicator is on the main map, but constantli syearing into the map an guessing the location is not fun.
You gotta be within like 10meters or so.
Maybe they should up the range a little, although if you're within a pile of people youll see the skill

thx for the screenshot, but this confirms the issue I have. if the person is not dead in close proximity I have no chance to know.
also to back up the issue, I had a lot of people that never waited for a medic to show up, even when I was really close to them. this means they don't even believe medic will come and just decide to die quickly. which is kind of sad, since anyone in the game can revive, and you still have people that will rather die.
I see where you're coming from, but it sorta came to me with experience. When people are down and far away from you - their markers are closer to the ground level they're on, so I just make decisions based on that. Seeing dead markers everywhere would in a way overbloat your UI imo. When you play medic for a good while it stops being an issue tbh.
I am ok with adjusting my gameplay, but if players masively choose to die than wait for medic it raises a question. But I bet devs have some sort of analytics to see the real numbers.
sry, the answer above was meant for you
I've noticed that mostly new players choose to die rather than let the medic pick them up. My first day of playing everyone was patiently waiting and now I see more people commit to death, even when you're in the process of picking them up in a safe spot. It depends honestly from match to match, sometimes you just see like 3-4 medics zip past your body and just not doing medic stuff overall, which is fine I guess.
But staying on the topic, I see more people waiting for medic rather than dying (usually the one's dying let out a frustrated sigh and die to choose a different class or gear so it's fine).
Coming from multiple battlefields I think medic situation is not at all bad
I also come from multiple battlefields, playing medic as my main. Where the ability to see the fallen players is pretty much everywhere, no matter the distance. But again, I am fine with adjusting my play style. Just thought I would share my first player experience.
Maybe medics not picking people up relates to markers, but not only you can see the skull and timer (since the qol update) - you can see a flopping body on the ground xD
