I think the game definitely needs fall damage but falling off a tiny hill and dying ruins the overall chaotic/fun vibes. For sure fall damage off of large cliffs/buildings/helicopters but right now it feels cumbersome. Thanks!

IDK what the devs have now, but I say we go realistic.
at 32.4ft, 9.9m, you have about a 71% chance to live
at 34.4ft, 10.5m, you have about a 50% chance to live
at 73.4ft, 22.4m, you have less than 1% chance to live

Damage = 0.05 * (Height - 3) * Max Health, at 22m you will have 5% health left, but 22.5m you will die. The 3 is 3m for a 3m drop zone where you will not take damage at all, which so happens to line up with real world numbers to make 22.5m a 100% death fall.

Now if we want to get fun, we could figure out a players weight and make it deal more damage faster depending on your weight.

So I think this suggestion is very important but rather than a nerf to fall damage therefore taking away realism the developers should try to add a parachute that can be manually deployed when falling from a height that would kill you.

Na, parachutes would change too much of the game flow. Choppers are going to just mass dump people all over now, people will just jump from high spots to avoid dealing with the enemy below. Plus it also takes some work to add a parachute, from the code to the 3D art and more. I think the best thing is to do the fall damage I suggested, it gives a good realism to fall damage, while also fitting the current playstyle of the game.

Just think of all the people who will spawn in a chopper and just ditch them now because they can parachute instead of lading, or the endless waves of people spawning and jumping out of a chopper. Making a chopper land keeps it balanced. No AA weapons, No parachutes.

So just make it to where no parachute out of chopper then, that way you can still tactically jump off a building and live or you fall from a height from the bridge or something.
