Since last saturday 03_11 (mm_dd) i noticed that the bullet drop was different, idk why as i didnt see anyone talking about it or any update but it is different from before (well i can say about SSG 69 at least)
I played BBR for more than 100 hours now (mainly using SSG-69) and i participated in all the Saturday playtests from some months to now so its not something im just confused about

So it changed or not? what happened

The thing is, if the bullet drop changed then it will affect my accuracy, if it changed i will need to relearn how to shoot to adapt to it, something i shouldnt be doing cause i used this weapon for 100 hours now
So well, never do anything that will change Sniper Rifle accuracy please, ty

I have an old video from 01_07 (mm_dd) that i can use as example with some new videos of me in shooting range
they all use the same gun setup with the except from the last video that was me trying to "fix" it

  1. 1000m shot (the old video)
  2. 1000m shot aiming exact the same
  3. 1000m shot aiming in the new range
  4. 1000m shot using SupressorLong (my way to try to re change it to be like the old one)
i managed to modify my gun setup to help with it, still, not the same, need to aim a little bit higher (what makes me miss most headshots), something i can clearly see using 40x for example and a lot more recoil, thats what made me come here tbh

So whats the point of a playtest if the developers arent allowed to change things?🤷🏼‍♂️ When snipers go nuts and have a kd-ratio of 10 than they should definitly do something against it. Thats just the usual balance process

@kind blaze a high sniper KD means other players get stomped, which means less fun for everyone except the sniper. You clearly missed my point about playtests overall. I dont even care for my KD as well.

I'm not really sure what the point of your post was, no, but the same goes for OP

#

something changed (or didn't)

#

for all we know he could've fatfingered his zeroing key

#

or there was a change to any number of values that could have affected trajectory

@kind blaze OP said in short: "please dont change anything and leave everything in its current state"
My comment on that was: "its the purpose of a playtest to change and test things".
The only comment that makes clearly no sense and adds nothing to the conversation is your own post. 😂

"this doesn't mean anything"

#

but yes everything is subject to change

@kind blaze Dude. Read it in context: Thats just an example why its important to balance all classes in a playtest, cause OP brought up a Sniper nerf. I dont even tried Sniper class at this point.

it's not really a nerf, the guy's just bitching about the arc being different from what he's used to

#

I fucking hate engaging with ESLs

#

I really wish there was a way to tell these things beforehand
