Virtually 99% of all shooters are like that.
Dunno if that question is serious, but that explains itself.
What if I have to shoot while running? What if enemy appears out of nowhere and you can't shoot because of running animation
Then you stop and shoot.
Or you die without fighting back, because you were recklessly running.
Same with taking the position, why can't I fall on the ground while sprinting? It's the first thing you would do in real life, but here you to stop and after that fall
No one throws themselves like that.

I don't think you've ever thrown yourself to the ground while running.

Have you ever see videos from the war? If you want to live you fall on the ground
You're not throwing yourself onto the ground like that in front of an enemy, holding a weapon, elbows into the ground...you'd be lucky if you even managed to use your rifle after that.
That's a pure game mechanic.
Best I could imagine was throwing yourself onto the back, but even that's super risky.
Maybe quickly proning, but definitely not throwing.
In real life you won't even see the enemy
Why are you dodging your own point?
Provide some examples or just accept it makes no sense.
In any case, this isn't a feature in the vast majority of games.
And this one doesn't happen to be an exception.
CoD and Battlefield?
Not all of them have that drop mechanic and I don't think any of them has sprinting while shooting.
I recall BFV has the drop tho.
Well, it's basically just a cinematic thing anyway.
Not like you can shoot during that animation either, so it's practically the same in that regard.
Only upside is that you get into cover quicker.
In BF1 you can shoot while running and fall on the ground to find cover

From what I am seeing, no one shoots and runs.
Titfanfall is probably the only game I recall that lets you do this.
Unless we include slide and shoot, that's more common.

Please elaborate in detail what you're actually asking for.
So far it sounds like you just want to shoot the instant you hit LMB, even when sprinting, basically bypassing any animation?

Not that you should be able to shoot while sprinting but that shooting should override sprinting, as it does in bf 4
Sometimes i see myself blunder hard because i flank some unsuspecting enemy and start hipfiring him, only for my guy to stop shooting before ive killed him because continuing my spring overrides shooting

Also why on earth is it so tough to just prone in a firefight
is it a similar case of everything else overriding proning or why does it feels so uncomfy to do
At least ADS overrides it.
But as I play with Hold (Sprint), I never found myself getting blocked by this for hipfiring either.

It just feels clunky idk why

I noticed crouch getting weird at times when proning is involved, but it seemed fine otherwise.
I mean lets say you have an elevation advantage, you shoot at enemys and gut feeling says that you need to prone right now or theyll blow your head off
It just feels like proning in that scenario never feels as smooth and immediate as it should
But ive also used 3 keyboards during my ~60h of playtime so maybe im just misclicking

You don't wanna do that because weapons in this game are kinda "physical".
So you'd block your means to shoot down properly.
That might be your issue.
It's very different from most other games, where guns don't really "exist".
