As in any shooter, BattleBit has a few maps that are clearly community-favorites, such as Valley, Basra and Wakistan. On the other hand, there are some maps that are only played very rarely - I'm mostly thinking about Wineparadise and Multuislands here, two maps I've been wanting to play for quite a while now. In my 85 hours of playing Playtests, i managed to play both once and enjoyed the maps. Taking a look at #998174250483593296 seems to support my feeling, that there are some maps that do not see much play.
Since i dont think most players really had a chance to take a look at those maps and judge how fun they are, i would like to propse a playtest where the top 5 maps (or top 3 or whatever number makes the most sense) are not available, so people are kind of forced to take a look at other maps.
While it may seem counterintuitive to cut content, a test that forces players to play on less used maps could not only add another map or two to the community-favorites, it could also provide Vilaskis with valuable feedback that might enable him to make those maps better and thus more accepted in the community.
Thanks for reading this essay.

It's kind of weird that there is 18 maps in the game, special channel for feedback, and most players played at maybe 5, 7 at max.
18 maps? I was assuming 8 or 9.
But I have said it before, its not fun to play the same 3/4 maps every playtest. Its Shipment/Metro 24/7 mentality.
Well I just checked and it's 13
It would seem that math is not my best side
Its all good mate, it still feels crappy to see the same maps over and over
Wakistan, Sandy Sunset, Isle, are all just too common
I have to agree and I think a lot of people would enjoy a playtest where those maps are just quietly made unavailable
I have 27h in palytest and didn't got a chance to play on multiisland or dustydew
Its kinda sad tbh
They are looking interesting
nope oki will never do anything like that we have long made the suggestion
its the same thing with gamemodes
Do we know why though?
oki loves a democracy, doesnt want to mess with the masses to appease to a minority. he saids the problem will be solved when community servers are out
i think its dumb but reallt cant do much
