#Vehicle collision needs to be better

One thing that's bothers me about the way vehicles interact with solid objects like walls is, even if you're virtually parallel with a wall but bump into it, the collision completely stops your progress, I think if it's possible to program it in a way that the vehicle can rub against surfaces and free itself so it makes driving more friendly it would be a big improvement for them.

I don't want vehicle rubbing in the instance that you nose dive off a cliff with a vehicle and it gets stuck nose down ass up, I just think for the cases when the side of the vehicle bumps into walls or surfaces(depending on the angle) that it should slow it down but not completely stop the vehicle so you can keep holding acceleration and be able to free yourself from the surface to keep driving forward.

I also don't want it so if you head-on collide with a wall and keep holding acceleration that it will turn and eventually break free from the wall. I think colliding and getting stuck on walls is good depending on the angle or how you're stuck, but for simply rubbing up against a wall I think if it's possible to program the vehicles so that they can rub off the wall and break free like kind of like a bumper car(but not just bounce off), like colliding with a wall should cause friction and slow the vehicle assuming the angle of the collision with the surface isn't too straight on into it but as well as losing speed, it should also be able to break away from the surface to continue driving

so

perpendicular and nose dives causing complete stoppage of a vehicle = good imo

other than that, there should be a factor where given the angle, the car may stop/slow down as it's grinding and causing friction but also be able to rub its way off the surface to keep going = would be a fantastic QoL change to driving

vehicles weigh a lot, and they have a lot of power pushing them, as vehicles are now with collision I think it can be improved with this change. I will also add one more note in a reply.

second note

Driving vehicles today, especially the little zippy ones. ground collision needs work as well and it's very clear, vehicles have suspension and I'm driving the 4 wheeler and the way the game is designed is if you hit a surface that changes angle instantly then the game forces you to slow down, or better yet completely stop even in instances with the ground.

If it's possible to improve on the side collision in the original post, this would be another easy fix but it would be more difficult imo to implement if the developer doesn't want nose dived vehicles that are stuck in ridiculous from breaking free so easily.

I don't think the driving should be so wreckless that you can drive off a cliff and get stuck on the nose of a vehicle with tires basically not touching and just get it unstuck like it didn't happen and if there's a way to smooth out transitions from instantaneously sharp different terrain changes so the vehicles drive more smoothly while on the ground and make it so driving doesn't become like a arcade game, like I think that would be the ideal. it seem's to me like quite a difficult thing to work on but that's my idea for a little QoL on vehicles.
