i agree with a server lock. i would actually prefer to do something more similar to rush from BF3 but as of right now i just want to play conquest. but not everyone wants to play that so yes oki pls help these guys out.

A majority of people that play 127 vs 127 pick conquest because of battlefield experience combat with large maps and vehicles. If you want a smaller map with no vehicles and no running, why not play a smaller mode like 64 vs 64? or 32 vs 32? OKI doesn't want the majority of the playerbase to suffer for the minority. It's his vision of the game anyway.

A lot of people claim 90% of people want Conquest. Now imagine if Dom is picked. Guess what? 90% of the people leave the server and it becomes a 64 vs 64 lmao or even a 32 vs 32. I've seen it happen

every single server is conquest, sandy basra or valley, on conquest. like some people might even like dom but they only know conquest because of battlefield and dont even want to experience another game mode

I'm not saying get rid of conquest either, but a majority of people want conquest. That's all there is to it. Yeah it sucks people that want domination suffer but if domination gets picked, then all the people that want conquest leave the server anyway so you end up with a 64 vs 64 match in a 127 vs 127 server. It's what most of the playerbase likes.

Like I said, if you don't want to run so much then why not play 32 vs 32 smaller maps?

because we should be able to experience a multitude of maps/gamemodes during the playtest, i shouldnt have to strapped down to 32v32 because i dont want to play a gamemode on every server, and even then theirs occasionally like 2 32v32 games and their full, same for 64v64 most of the playerbase wants conquest because thats all they know, i bet u half of them would enjoy dom, infantry conquest, or frontline. but they dont give it the opportunity because all they know is conquest. This why we should have a reworked voting system so everything is experienced

I'd like to see the game mode that got voted to be showed during the map voting duration, it goes from game mode voting to map voting but the game mode voting is so quick so sometimes I miss it and I don't know what game mode is the next match

I would like to play all the maps in game. Maybe players would vote for map order (all the maps on the voting screen are being sorted and put in list (in particular order)) not just one map to play next. System like this can be used for mode voting.

I think they should prevent you from playing the same gamemode twice in a row. Vote for Conquest, then only get to choose between Infantry Conquest, Dom, and Frontlines (I think there's another mode but I can't remember lol) for the next match.

I mean ppl are just gonna leave the server. I suggested dedicating 2 servers on each region for both domi and frontline and minority of players who like them will fill them up as now they are dispersed everywhere and always lose the vote. Those who don't like conquest will leave conquest servers and people who like it will fill up those spots. I dont see why this is bad for the community, you literally don't change anything drastically you just funnel players to servers they prefer and make everyone happy. Simple solution

Agreed. I haven’t played yet (hopefully soon) but I think this community is big enough to have be able to do this. The only time this wouldn’t plausibly is if the player group that wanted to play a specific game mode wasn’t big enough to be able to fill out a dedicated lobby/server. The most viable solution (in my opinion) would be to assign lobbies based off of current popularity and keep wait times similar between game modes. You’d send everyone back to match making to find a new game similar to other team based games like overwatch or call of duty

We could make the vote work the same way mario kart does it. The more votes a map has the more chances it could haveo win, and then do a lottery pick. That way even minority votes can at least get played SOMETIMES. The way it stands now everyone just herding what they want means we get no variety in maps.
