Because they don't like the idea of bipods

If they did, we'd be able to deploy it when we wanted assuming we had a suitable place to place it

I feel like it sort of ruins the point of playing the support class. No recoil control whatsoever, you might as well just have a submachine gun.

I run out of mousepad when "controlling" the M249 with a bipod attached; totally unnecessary

Its sorta the same reason why frag rpg rounds are useless
