During the entire playtest today I managed to get zero kills while playing only engineer. In one instance I shot two rockets into a building where a guy was hiding and managed to deal an entire 20 damage. The frag rounds do almost no damage to structures and they do not seem to be very effective in their advertised role of anti-infantry. Has anyone had success with these?
#RPG-7 Frag rounds are unusable

This question has been directly presented to Oki in the past and the answer is that its current state is intended.
I recommend running HEAT full time if you want to do damage with RPGs
So frag rounds are useless? Not sure why they are in the game if this is their final state.
I run heat on vehicle maps usually but on infantry maps one would think frag would be more useful.
Here some clips from a year ago
Pre-Nerf Frag rockets were as broken as they come
I know they were broken a while ago but there has to be some kind of middle ground between op and useless.
Otherwise they shouldn’t even be an option
Unfortunately they will stay that way well into Early Access
I miss Namak
This is just laziness tbh.
Compared to heat, the frag rpg:
-Comes with less ammo
-Deals no damage to structures
-Deals no damage to vehicles
-Deals LESS THAN 100 DAMAGE at MOST
+Has a slightly larger radius
+100% bleed chance
Might as well remove it from the game.
Yea agreed
They’re useless against killing enemies in buildings
Also at the very least add equal ammo
Or at least MORE ammo
since they're smaller/lighter
that would make them not obnoxious to play against, but you could steadily bombard a place with them.
Yea
You can still spam buildings with HEAT
Honestly tho FRAG rockets were abit silly
🤣 this bro wtf ive had the game since launch day and keep checking in if the frag rpg is useful and it still isnt. How a High Explosive Anti Tank rpg is better at killing infantry than a frag grenade on a rocket, would have anyone question why any military would field the latter. If this is intended, it should just be removed then, its worthless.
Just realized this is from last january 💀
Wont even bother reading through this noncence. Good. Hopefully other rpg’s will follow the same trend
