#Sledge hammer needs tracers like in melee slashers Mordhau or Chivalry instead of simple hit scan

Breaching just will feel much more better and natural, and it also will make hammer legitimately a viable weapon

What if they'll make a full on slasher melee combat with parry's and shit haha but no way

Tracers are the visible lines that exist for training purposes.

#

That changes absolutely nothing about its use or how it handles.

#

Also all melee weapons are, by nature, hitscan.

#

Well, depends on how you define it really. kittenThinking

#

In Mordhau etc. you can swing them and the hit occurs the instant it comes into contact with anything...though that's kinda the same as bullets with ballistics.

#

If we go with "you click, it lands where you look instantly", then they aren't hitscan either, because they don't do that.

#

Point is, you want physics for something that's just supposed to be a breaching tool, even though such mechanics belong into a full fledged melee combat game

#

Would be cool, but 99.99% doubt on that happening.

#

That would be work for something relatively pointless.

#

Plus potential performance concerns.

And in my heart big frikin hammer isn't just a breaching tool but love and well it definitely would be cool as heck and definitely feel much more nicer so not pointless and im not too concerned about performance issues, if Oki come up with something like that i'll call him a bloody legend

this

but better just increase the damage

#

two-hit is too slow, using sledgehammer and going melee is already a high risk gaming
