#Modular Vehicle damage

One thing many games gets wrong its the destruction of vehicles. They should be destroyed in modular sections. Like an engine hit should damage the functionality of the vehicle. I think seeing bits of a tank exploded off in sections would give more realism and fun to the game.

War thunder has it so that while it isn't destroyed in sections, one good shot can take out the entire crew inside a tank by hitting the ammo inside. Not sure how something like that might translate to battlebit

Currently the vehicles weaker then APCs can be killed in 1 hit with a Tandem Warhead and i killed a MBT with 3 40-someting Tandem RPG Hits today (I'm quite bad at hitting RPGs and the tank only showed his side Armor)

But hitting the 3 rockets was only possible due to the MBT vastly overextending his play and crashing into a corner on his attempted escape

So aside the obvious skill issue of me not hitting the correct weakspots of said tank, it would be awesome if tanks that push in blindly could be crippled mobility wise
Not like "Oops, looks like your track is gone, get out and try to put it on again" but more like "Damn the track is damaged, my tank always pulls left/right when i try to go straight"
Same with reduced top speed and acceleration when hitting the engine

It really gets annoying when APCs just blast right through you / your squad, you get a hit in on the side and it disappears like nothing happened

Would be nice if any system like that was to be added but given the more simplistic style of the game mechanics i'm not too optimistic

@opaque dew I agree, having slowed copola (turret rotation) once the tank rings are dmg'd enough or slowed speed bc of track dmg would be great. Should balance tanks more that way imo
