Ideally you simply couldn't destroy them at all, though there might be situations where some mega brain placed them really badly.
However, in no situation should you be able to take damage from your own mines/claymores if an ally shoots them. That's literally a griefer trap.
And yes, I had some 9yo chase me down to shoot mines as I place them.
Sometimes it also just sucks when your pepega allies toss a nade or RPG down the hallway you're protecting, triggering a mine and killing you in the process.

It also just sucks when you have virtually blind people come up the stairs and shoot your mines, not seeing the green marker.
Which is especially funny because they're shooting them at a range that would be lethal, had it been an enemy mine.

On the other hand I had couple situations where enemy was trying to move around claymore/mine and I've sniped it bellow their feet, resulting in glorious explosion and dead enemy. 😄

I don't even know if you get damaged by an ally's mine if an enemy shoots it.

Yeah you don't get kills/points for exploding stuff under someone like this. Regardless its fun when you can make it happen.
And I don't think you get damaged from friendly mine being destroyed by enemy. Only from your own. Might be wrong tho.

That was my experience so far, so yeah.

And then there's the tank kill-steal where your teammates set off your c4 right as you get to a safe distance to blow them up, and they get the kills for sneezing on the tanks.
