A pistol is a gun, a gun is not always a pistol, a gun is a firearm.
What is casified as a pistole and the size doesn't correlate, nor the caliber.

The MP5 (Maschienenpistole 5 : Machinepistole 5) is a SMP afaik
but sure you can also call it an SMG, also correct
No need for this long list though, only 4 weaps worth using atm and the p90 is the best one

The AK74 is the best of all trades

I think you have a bit of a weird view because you play from 80 to 150 meters
Above 100m isnt really AR range
I take the distances from the shooting range and orientate the distance estimation on that (I can actually just guess there), how big the character models are in a match.
And yea, I feel convident shooting people with an AR at 150m. I also do challange snipers with an AR.
I think the longets kill I made with the AK74 was 243m.

Idk, I think you should try out DMR's. Also HK416 doesnt kill in 3 shots afaik. And where is AK15?
I think the best distance for AR to work is now 40->100M, not 80->150
0->100M or so I think is the interval where AR can work, 0->40M I think SMG has more advantages

The HK416 does kill within 3 shots with an heavy barrel

40M I think is only a vague distance, for this distance AR and SMG can cause kills
I haven't tested all guns, because I hardly dislike the AK15.
There are other people who can give better feedback on that
Scar and AK15 are both really strong as they kill with 3 shots as standard
But if you try to spray at long range, of course they feel bad. You should tap fire and not spray like a monkey

Use a short range sight and play AR up to 100 meters. Want longer range -> play DMR or tap fire

3x zoom on AR is a meme, Oki himself said that nobody should use those
You can use the AK74 to shoot at targets 150M away, but the SCARH/AK15/DMR/SR is more effective

and what is intended and what player will do, are 2 completly different things
Let's say, you have a SMP which is a laser beam, and has no dmg fall off, but only 1x scopes.
Do you think, because its an SMP, it wont get used by players who want to win, that they shoot people on long range distances?
Gamedesign and outcome are 2 different things
Just so you know, the "Hard hitting AK" that you're used to is called, in this game, the AK15.
The AK74 is a lot more similar to the M4 than to the AK15 and, in my opinion, I think it should be swapped for the AK12 which falls more in line with the setting and it's easier to balance due to it having a similar rpm to the M4

Most "Solid" ARs that you mentioned are just godawful, what are you on about?
SCAR-H is basically a DMR
AK-15 is just a better SCAR-H
ACR is a bad M4
SG550 is an even worse M4 with much higher recoil, muzzle flare and much lower damage.
G36 is just an M4 with low accuracy
AUG is one of the top 3 worst weapons in the game with the airsoft-like bullet velocity, EXCESSIVE muzzle flare and laughable low RPM (ttk is high even with the heavy barrel lmao)
FAMAS is just outright the worst weapon in the game with awful acc, low ammo count, high recoil and high ttk on top of that.
Yea I might have missed to say, that I tested all weapons with attachments, on how I would use them.
(Quick-A Mag, B25 URK, both because faster reload, and either the tactical barrel, flash hider or heavy barrel)
But I'm actually glad to hear that people feel different about those guns, because it means they have a good usecase for other people. Just not for my playstyle.
Horrizontal recoil is the most important thing to get taimed, at that makes it more accurate for me (because dragging down the mouse is easier, than wiggling it IMO)
Oh, trust me, I've tried using all of these weapons and I must say:
Only the m4 and the ak15 are remotely balanced; The HK419 and the ak74 are meta cuz of heavy barrel 3stk.
All the other ARs are worse versions of the good ones and most are just horrible.

Even the SG550? I mean yea, it jumps from side to side, but the reload speed, the fire rate, the consistent dmg at range? But yea 4 hit kill...
I tell you a funny story
I tried the ssg, got over 400 kills with it.
I suffered a lot, but I persisted long enough to unlock the flash hider and make the weapon remotely useful.
Turns out the recoil and the damage are still shit, and I couldn't really rack up kills as much as the guys from avalon were.
Then, with about 25% of time left in the match, I switched to the STOCK M4 and MAGICALLY started killing people left and right, and I rose from 10th place, ~35kills to almost 3rd with over 70 kills.
I basically performed 3x better after swapping from the SG550 to the M4.

looks like wrong grip and deff the wrong scope, and of course it will bounce if you dont control it
a tip when using the ak at 100+ range is to shoot low on the first round to let the rifle do its kick and then control the up force a bit, people way better then me are hitting long shots so easy, Stick with the Kobra sight. Medium scopes is like going on a bouncy castle and turns rifle into sloppy spaghetti hehe
