When playing on night maps, the night vision goggles drop my fps and response time enough that i can't really keep up with the firefights. Admittedly my rig is a non-gamer laptop, but even on potato settings its a problem.
Wondering if there's potential room for improvement on this.

sadly on nightmaps your shadows are forced on for the gamemode to work
this is why I can only suggest switching servers when nightmode comes on

100% certain You can do minimal effort to get some extra fps.
and even for free or super cheap
and thinking of the worse of cases. idk, you live in a poor country for example. I would recommend going to places where they have PCs, like offices, schools, factories... and ask for their it scrap Ive made pcs this way that would run bbr.

have proper settings, if you whant to strech it overvolt althow i dont think you will be able to since i couldnt on mine due to mobo isues...
well. there is a lot to do, before asking if a dev can make nightshades less graphics "intense".

Well the ppl cant complain really as such old pcs can run the game already, if you cant run this then dont complain, you can be glad you can somehow run it

Well, these people haven't even done the minimal effort to try and make it run, and then they proceed to ask the devs to make it run smother than it already is?? that is just annoying and disappointing.
