About weapon scopes

When I liberated the weapon, it didn't come with a scope, but I think it would be better to have one from the beginning.

Come to think of it, sniper rifles and the like had scopes.
But assaults, etc. take a long time to get consistent kills.
Is this just me being bad at this?
