The fast reloads for a belt fed like the m249 is something no one has ever put in to gaming. It’s called teamwork!!
Under 2 second reload for a belt fed is simple. Have your buddy add another 200 round belt to the end of your bullet chain and keep firing.
In reality the BBR fast reload is just the standers video game reload, while the tactical reload lets you save an empty mag to refill later. It’s kinda backwards from normal.
However. To make a fast single person reload for a belt fed, is to drop the partial mag with what’s remaining of the belt, hook a new box in and snap the bullet chain links of the new to the old.

my brother in christ the issue is that when you shoot one bullet then press the R key your digital sock puppet decides to ignore the laws of physics and quantum time loops a new round into the primordial chamber of your m249 without ever even thinking about grazing the charging handle with even his fingernail
