When a friendly stands behind an enemy, the friendly dot deceives the player into thinking the enemy is friendly.

Sometimes I look at a enemy character and it looks like a friendly because the friendly dot is displayed from a player that is way further.

It's misleading.
I (USED TO) play with the friendly outline, but now this issue has appeared because I think thbe friendly outlines got removed?

There was a post in #1019647856770023554 about armbands, which would really help a little to identify characters better.
or some sort of a feature similar to how outlines used to work?
Maybe just adjustments to the current friendly dot would be enoguh too.

You're much better off learning how to distinguish the two teams as friendly outlines and being able to hide the teammate's markers are 2 things that are not going to happen.

Tl:dr: this problem can't and won't be solved, you're better off learning the camos

IIRC bf2042 solved this by having glow sticks that change based on what team that player is on

Something like an armband or a unique identifying feature on the character regardless of skin would be nice.
