When a squad fills up (8/8), it’s automatically locked. However, when someone leaves the squad it remains locked until it’s unlocked by the squad leader. I understand there are private squads that keep locked. However, It would be nice if there was a way (maybe a setting) to have the squad revert to unlocked if the squad is less then 8/8.
