Just to reiterate, for the suppression. A teamate is not engaged but I can't spawn on them. By that I mean, for example, a squad member is a floor below a teamate being engaged, and the squad member gets suppressed due to that.

Also for the message below the title, when i say teamate to spawn on i do mean squad mate, not anyone on your team lol.

personally i hate the mechanic where you can spawn in on a teammate who is under fire, think from the enemy's perspective, you just killed most of a squad and only one person left to kill, out of the thin blue air 8 people spawn in on that last guy...... absolute doo doo water bull crap mechanic to have.
same goes for when trying to take a flag, it's gonna be near impossible to take a point when the enemy can just spawn in at the last second and then have more people on the point and defend it like that, use spawn beacons or spawn on nearby squad member(use squad mic to tell a person to get out of combat if needed), if none of those options are available, tough tittay, you lost the point.

The thing about respawning on contested points and teammates:

-Respawning on a contested point creates an uphill battle, as the attacking forces eradicate the defenders, the latter keep spawning in while the attackers have spawn far away or on teammates that might not be available.

-There are 3 things that block respawn on teammates:
-Damage/suppression
-Proximity
-Being in the FoV of an enemy.
This ensures that no "surprise reinforcements" appear right on top of an enemy (if you see this happening, it's a bug/miscalculation)
