performance issues compared to earlier builds

-gpu rtx 3070 8gb version of msi
-cpu intel i5 10600k @4,6 ghz
-32 gb 3600mhz ram
-installed on an ssd
-windows 11

on an eariler build i was able to reach 200-300 fps stable now i cannot even hold 100 fps without having drops my game only uses 23-25% of my cpu while my gpu only uses 40%

the fps doesent change if i change any grafic settings only shadows makes it worse even resolution scale on 400% doesent change my fps in any way but i always have unstable low fps no matter what i do

other games works fine
-350 fps on overwatch 2
-200 fps on modern warfare 2 beta
-100 fps+ on warzone
-200 fps on the cycle
-vr games runs without issues on 150% render scaling
-battlefield games also run flawless with 150 fps+
the list is endless but its definitelly the state of the game/updates wich decreased my fps heavily

The game is massively CPU bound and the fps will fuctuate a LOT depending on how many player there are and how close your are to them.
Resolution scale, shadows, etc will not affect the fps cuz those use the GPU almost exclusively.

This game doesn't benefit a lot from high thread counts, so the performance is almost exclusively dependent of the clock speed of the CPU, that's the whole bottleneck.

unity gets native dx12 and vulkan support wich enables a render pipline that can handle uncapped core counts

I don't think there's much that can be done for the time being. Your pc might have some very specific settings that bbr doesn't like, and it's very hard for Oki to fix it when all you do is say "game runs bad", I'm afraid this won't go any further for now.

I suspect that you'd need some very deep knowledge on your CPU settings to try and find a reason for the underperfomance, cuz that's not normal

The performance on BBR is soft capped due to how it's coded.
It has low thread usage with massive CPU load, so if you want consistent high fps (120+) you need a beefy overclocked CPU with high single core performance.

the game is optimized for single-thread performance and odds are you've got a multi-thread processor since that's in vogue right now

you're being bottlenecked by your processor, not your gpu

You're using an intel, which has the gimmicky E/P cores setup that MIGHT be causing this issue. Try to look for a way to force the CPU to use P cores for the game and then come back and tell us how things changed.
